Sullivan Buses and London Central gain London bus tenders

The latest round of London bus tendering has been announced, with gains for Sullivan Buses and Go-Ahead owned London Central.
Sullivan buses won the 217 contract from Metroline, with new Euro 6 diesel double-deckers and a Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) of 11. The new contract commences on June 3, 2017.
London Central’s gain was the N136, which it took from Stagecoach Selkent. The route will use hybrid double-decker buses from 2011 from route 436’s allocation and start on May 27.
Metroline West retained five routes, the E6 (2010 Euro 5 single-deckers, PVR 13, May 27), U1 (2010 Euro 5 single-deckers, PVR 8, April 29), U2 (2009 Euro 5 single-deckers, PVR 9, April 29), U3 (2009 Euro 4 single-deckers and one double-deck, PVR 11, April 29) and U4 (2009 Euro 4 double-deckers, PVR 14, April 29).
Arriva London North was re-awarded the 254, which will use new Euro 6 New Routemasters with a PVR of 33 from June 3.
Stagecoach Selkent kept hold of the P4, with a PVR of 13. It will utilise 2009 Euro 4 single-deckers, and a single Euro 5 single-decker. The contract begins on April 29.
