Thames Travel has announced the launch of a new bus driver recruitment campaign, after a significant expansion of its services.
This year, Thames Travel has improved transport links to employment sites between Oxford and Harwell, and between Abingdon and Culham.
It has additionally added new services to Great Western Park connecting resident to key regional employment hubs including Didcot, Harwell and Milton Park. This expansion has also seen the addition of a night-bus service between Oxford and Didcot.
The investment has also come in the form of the introduction of new services and new ultra-low emission (Euro VI) vehicles which has created new jobs.
Phil Southall, Thames Travel Managing Director, said: “A key part of our strategy has been to develop attractive bus services to serve major employment hubs in the south of the county.
“We have done so via investment in new routes and services which has improved connectivity for some of the fastest-growing areas of economy in the county.
