Alan Payling reports on a bus service started by a student and operated for the benefit of students, so they can travel to and from their campus at Exeter University when they want a good night out. He finds that the bus is actually part of the evening’s entertainment

It was something of a light bulb moment for Conrad Lewis. He was part way through his three-year economics degree at Exeter University when he decided to take a break on the sun-soaked island of Ibiza. When the sun sets on the Balearic island, it’s time to party – with a vengeance. Conrad, of course, joined in the fun.

The places to head for are the ‘superclubs’ on the island, open until the sun comes back up again. During the course of the night, when you get bored with one club, well, you want to make your way to one of the other clubs. There is the slight issue that they are on opposite sides of the island and taxis are very expensive. 50 Euros.
