FlixBus launched a new partnership with Nottingham-based coach operator Tiger European on Monday 15 August. Providing daily services between Nottingham and London, Tiger European’s route will also see Northampton added to FlixBus’ network, offering new journey opportunities for passengers to and from the capital and the Midlands.

Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK, said: “As the fastest-growing coach provider in the country, we are delighted to bring Tiger European on board to broaden and develop our intercity network, as their values and ambitions align with ours.
”We are seeing high demand for travel to and from Nottingham, so we are keen to expand to this strategically important area of the UK.”

A family-run business with over 30 years’ experience in the industry, the partnership represents a step-change for Tiger European as it diversifies its offering. General Manager Dustej Singh Golar said: “We have seen a lot of positive stories around FlixBus’ growth this year, which prompted us to take action by joining the network and become part of its success.

“This will be our first experience of express coach services but we are impressed by the company’s upward trajectory and are delighted that the partnership provides opportunity for regular work, all year round. We can’t wait to begin our journey with FlixBus.”

This partnership, alongside FlixBus’ recent expansion into the domestic Scottish market with McGill’s means the brand now serves over 40 UK destinations on its UK network.

“The summer has been an overwhelming success for us, and we have achieved significant increases in demand and customers. This continues to fuel our desire to provide green, affordable travel to every corner of the UK,” added Andreas.
