EVM Direct has delivered two Grand Tourers, based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 516CDI with seven speed G-Tronic gearboxes and extra-long wheel base, to St. Helens-based Ellisons Travel Services.
Ellisons Travel Services, which also operates full sized coaches and football team coaches, has specified the interior to include 20 executive class seats with real leather and diamond stitching on the seat base, backs and three-point belts for use on corporate hire.
Entry to the saloon is through a Masats plug door, with the three stage entry steps being fitted with LED strip lighting and stainless steel inserts.
The interior climate is controlled by the Mercedes-Benz in-dash Tempmatic air-conditioning with auxiliary hot water heater and heat booster.
A roof mounted Webasto Diavia Madrid 15.5kw air-conditioning system is also fitted and is ducted along the luggage racks and distributed by passenger service units.
EVM Panoramic double-glazed passenger saloon windows in privacy grey are fitted.
The rear of the vehicle is fitted with an EVM coach back and boot door with gas lift up struts.
