Transaid held its annual showcase last week to bring those involved with the charity up to speed with its progress over the last twelve months. Peter Jackson was there

Every year, international development organisation Transaid holds an annual showcase event, briefing those involved with the charity on the progress it has made over the past 12 months and offering a look ahead to how it plans to continue its efforts over the next 12.

This year’s showcase took place at the Duval Square, London headquarters of international law firm Ashurst, and saw over 100 people from member and partner organisations attend to listen to presentations and network. On that list of attendees was The Princess Royal, Transaid’s founding patron. She gave the final presentation of the morning.
CBW has covered Transaid’s achievements for a number of years, but for those unaware, its focus is on ‘safe, available and sustainable’ transport. Working with its partner organisations and governments in developing countries – with a particular focus on African nations – Transaid’s work has benefited the lives of thousands.
