Matt Clayson has been appointed to the role of chair of CoachMarque, which provides accreditation for coach travel operators across the UK
Matt Clayson, co-owner of the Ready Group, which includes Readybus, Turbostyle, LJ Edwards and Arena Travel, has been announced as the new interim chair of CoachMarque. Matt will add his 20 years of industry knowledge to support the CoachMarque brand, which offers accreditation for coach travel providers. He says he is hoping to support the organisation in sharing decision-making and encourage higher standards through its membership. CoachMarque’s members are benchmarked against a set of criteria and independently audited on a regular basis to ensure that they continue to meet and provide the highest levels of standards in coaching.
Matt said: “I’m delighted to be appointed interim chair of such a vital organisaton for our industry. I want to help the committee and members make decisions to support the growth and well-being of small and medium-sized coach and bus operators. It’s vital we support the highest quality of customer care in what are particularly challenging times. My role is simply to offer my advice to enable for decisions to be made by everyone, and I’ll remain as long as the committee and members think is necessary.”
