A £7m revamp of the Brunel Bus Station in Slough has been completed.
The station, made famous for its use in the opening credits of BBC’s The Office, has been rebuilt as part of a £450m Heart of Slough project to revitalise a large part of the town centre.
Slough Borough Council challenged a project team of McLaren Construction, BBlur Architecture and consultant Buro Happold to redevelop. The project has been described as “a feat of engineering and cutting edge design, providing a landmark building in the transport hub area of the wider town regeneration project”.
