Arriva Italia has acquired the remaining 51% of Cremona bus operator, KM SpA which has a fleet of 100 buses and employs over 110 employees. Originally founded in 2001, it operates urban and inter-urban bus services in and around the city of Cremona.
Leopoldo Montanari, Managing Director of Arriva Italia, said: “We are very proud to confirm that we now have full ownership of KM SpA and it underlines Arriva’s commitment to the area of Cremona and our positive relations with the local authorities.
“We are ready to provide Cremona, a capital of music and art, with the most innovative mobility solutions and the development of even more sustainable transport services.”
Arriva has over 3,400 employees in Italy and a fleet of 2,300 buses.
