After a year back on the road, Yellow Buses has decided to permanently instate its coach fixture Yellow Coaches, and to accompany this has updated its livery and introduced a new website dedicated to the coach company.

The private hire coach operation was relaunched on a trial basis by Yellow Buses last year, and its new livery matches the Yellow Buses fleet.

Jay Thornton, who was recruited last year to build the business, said: “We have had a very successful 12 months working for a wide range of clients and demonstrating that there is a clear demand for our services.

“We have seen our vehicles operate on rail replacement, UK tours and event transport as well provide cruise ship excursions for major ports in the South of England.

“Our streamlined fleet, including two vehicles from our sister company, Selwyn’s Travel, means we can now offer 16, 48 and 53 seat executive coaches for hire.

“We’ve explored a number of new business avenues and created growth of around 30% between January and May while using less vehicles when compared with 2018.

“We’ve also gained new contracts to guarantee revenue across the year and sustain us for the next step in our development plans.”
