OK Travel will already be a familiar name to those long-serving members and enthusiasts of the bus industry. It was once an iconic independent bus and coach operator in the North East.
The name has now reappeared in 2020 thanks to it being the first repaint for Go North East’s coach unit, Northern Coaching.
Introducing the newly-applied brand, Managing Director of Go North East and East Yorkshire, Martijn Gilbert said on his Twitter account:
“Introducing Northern Coaching! We’re tidying up our fleet of PSVAR compliant coaches for use on rail replacement and contract operations into a series of retro liveries from North of England coach names with recent historical connections to GNE (+companies EY acquired in the 90s)”
