'Cocktail double deck buses’ will visit 100 cocktail bars across London

During London Cocktail Week (LCW) in October, cocktail tours on Routemaster buses will visit more than 100 cocktail bars, each offering a bespoke drink for £4.

At special London Cocktail Week bus stops outside participating bars, bartenders will serve minicocktails to drinkers wearing an LCW wristband while they wait for the bus.

LCW will also include masterclasses in cocktail mixing, pop-up events and parties. Visitors to London can register for a free wristband until September 10, after which they will cost £10. An LCW wristband allows wearers discounted cocktails in participating bars and free transport on the dedicated buses which will run every day from 1800 to 0000hrs. Wristbands can be collected from the LCW hub on the first floor bar in Selfridges, Oxford Street, which will be themed as a temporary speakeasy-style cocktail bar.

LCW is now partnering with The Whisky Show at Vinopolis on October 7–8 and the UK RumFest at Olympia on October 14–16.
