Arriva Midlands’ Telford garage is giving its last surviving Scania non-low-floor bus a send-off this Saturday (December 19).
New to Midland Fox as 2168, East Lancs-bodied Scania K113CRL 3468 (N168PUT), is to run on the 9 service between Telford, Bridgnorth and Wolverhampton.
The bus will work the following trips: 0705hrs Grove Estate Bridgnorth to Telford; 0850hrs Telford to Wolverhampton ( 0953hrs ex Bridgnorth); 1045hrs Wolverhampton to Telford (1129hrs ex Bridgnorth); 1250hrs Telford to Wolverhampton (1353hrs ex Bridgnorth); 1445hrs Wolverhampton to Telford (1529hrs ex Bridgnorth); and 1650hrs Telford to Bridgnorth.
The vehicle has seen outs its days as a spare bus and is being withdrawn ahead of the DDA deadline of January 1 for single-deckers.
