Arriva London North has won two new Transport for London (TfL) bus tenders from rival operators Metroline and London General.

Route 34 will transfer from Metroline to Arriva London North on 9 November, with the operator intending to use 22 hybrid double-deckers on the route – exact details of which are to be confirmed.

Additionally, London General will surrender route 192 to the operator on the same day. 15 new Euro VI single-deckers will be used on the service.

Arriva has also hung onto routes 29/N29 and 102. When the contracts renew on 11 January 2020 and 9 November 2019 respectively, the company intends to run 36 2013 Euro V hybrid double-deckers on the former and as-yet-unconfirmed hybrid double-deckers on the latter.

Elsewhere in the latest round of tender results, routes 52 and 109/N109 will remain with Metroline and Abellio London respectively.

18 2014 Euro VI hybrid double-deckers will run on route 52, while route 109/N109 will utilise 26 2015 Euro VI hybrid double-deckers.
