B.A.S.E Coach Sales has tested its first 74-seater MOBIpeople Explorer – and the model will be available to the new specification from mid March.
Nick Dodgson, General Manager told CBW: “The extra four seats are very important. Operators told us they love the existing 70-seater, but would ideally be able to have another few seats, which would enable them to replace double-deckers.
“Five weeks after we started this project, we’re now offering this variant in 74 (3+2), plus driver and courier configuration. With a starting price of £169,950, the coach is equipped with Prime Buckinghams seats with three-point seatbelts.”
Based on MAN’s RR8 chassis, the 12.5m MOBIpeople Explorer continues to be available as a 57 or 70-seater.
