Chalkwell Coaches of Sittingbourne has recently distributed in excess of 50,000 surgical facemasks to bus operators across the South East. The masks were provided by the UK Government and Chalkwell driver Linda Saunders travelled to Birmingham to make the initial collection.
Roland Eglinton, Managing Director said: “By collecting and delivering these masks across the South East, Chalkwell are helping to ensure that key workers at bus companies, staff and customers can have access to PPE at this time.”
Chalkwell already holds the ‘We’re Good To Go’ Industry Standard Mark which provides customers with reassurance that they offer COVID-secure vehicles for travel.
