Doncaster-based coach dealer, Connaught PSV, has updated its range with the Ferqui Sunrise – to be supplied as the Ferqui SR in the UK.
The new vehicle is built on Iveco’s 70C17 chassis – a long standing staple of Ferqui’s European dealers, and has been brought to the UK to replace the Mercedes Vario chassis.
Connaught is initially focussing on the 33 seat version, although it is also available in 25 and 29 seats variants. It will be offered with six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox options.
The specification of the new vehicle includes reclining seats, air conditioning and tinted double glazing, and will feature Ferqui’s ‘high quality interior finish.’
It is expected to be popular with operators that are interested in replacing ageing Vario 33 seat vehicles. The first vehicle has already sold, however it will be available to view at Connaught’s Doncaster premises until the end of May.
