North West CPT is flying high for its next regional meeting to be held on Monday (July 10) at Manchester Airport Runway where visitors will sit alongside a Concorde aircraft.
Members will have the opportunity of listening to a host of distinguished speakers, including the recently retired Senior Traffic Commissioner Beverley Bell and updates of all the latest from Brussels, Westminster and beyond delivered by Pauline Gaunt of CPT – plus the chance to view the new Neoplan Tourliner and the latest upholstery from Ultra fabrics.
Speaking about the latest meeting Richard Bamber, CPT NW Chairman and managing Partner of Anthony’s Travel said: “It’s fitting in the current political of climate of post-election blues and Brexit that this meeting is held by the iconic Concorde, which was a great example of Anglo- French compromise to build something that to this day shaped the face of travel. While we at NW CPT are not promising to invent supersonic coach and bus travel, we are working tirelessly to bring around effective change and compromise within the industry, whilst best representing our members’ interests. We have some great meetings and events in the pipe line. The theme of our
September meeting is already set – disability, accessibility, awareness and training – which will be held at Viva Blackpool on Monday, September 4. I encourage all members to come along and discuss best practice and help make a difference in your industry”
Whilst both regional meetings are members events, event organiser and CPT Regional Manager Sue Mullen has a limited number of places for operators who would like to attend and become members. She can be contacted on 07710 833577 or [email protected].
