Epsom Coaches and The Jockey Club have joined forces to raise the profile of one of the world’s greatest flat races, The Derby.
Each of the company’s coaches will be named after a horse that won the race with the first, ‘Ruler of the World’ recognising the 2013 winner.
Steve Whiteway, Epsom Coaches Managing Director said: “Epsom is well known for the Derby, but equally our coaches have ensured that the name of Epsom is spread across the UK and Europe, as we have travelled many millions of miles since we started in 1920.
“Naming each coach brings together two legends of Epsom and promotes the borough and its iconic race worldwide. With over 240 Derby winners, we have plenty of names to choose from allowing for further expansion of our fleet which continues to set the standard in the passenger travel industry.”
