Excursions 2015 is once again extending its programme of free coach transfer services for visitors to the show.
There are now over 55 pick-up points across the South East and East Anglia as well as to the north and west of London.
Eight new pick-up locations and one additional coach have been added, increasing the number of coaches from 12 to 13 stopping at major towns and London train stations on their way to the free entry group travel show at Alexandra Palace on Saturday, January 24. The coaches are organised in partnership with Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) and are provided by members of the Coach Marque quality scheme.
The new coach will start from Peterborough, stopping at Bedford, Milton Keynes and Watford before arriving at Alexandra Palace. Other new pick-up points include Salisbury, Andover, Eastleigh (Southampton Airport Parkway), Oxford, Aylesbury and Basildon. The service calling at six central London main line railway stations will continue operating for the 2015 exhibition.
The 13 coaches will be scheduled to arrive at Excursions from around 1100hrs, with departures for the homeward journey from 1515hrs.
Joint organiser Joanne Channon from Tourism South East said: “We regularly re-assess the towns and locations covered by our free coach services to check for any important gaps in the routes.
“The new coach and pick-up points are being introduced to meet an existing demand in areas where research shows group travel organisers are based, and are therefore sure to be well supported.”
Although the coach travel is free, it is essential to pre-book a seat. Full information including locations, pick-up times and a booking form can be found online at www.excursions.org.uk or call 0845 557 7725.
