The Scotsman has reported that Lothian Buses CEO Ian Craig has been cleared of any wrongdoing following a compliant from three members of the operator’s board.
A five-week investigation launched by Chairman Ann Faulds dismissed claims which had reportedly been made by Operations Director Bill Campbell, Engineering Director Bill Devlin and Finance Director Norman Strachan, all three of which have worked for the company for over 14 years.
Ann Faulds, Chairman of Lothian Buses, said: “The investigation has shown the need to balance new demands with our much respected traditions at Lothian Buses.
“In achieving this balance certain difficulties and tensions have emerged at management level. These concerns are being addressed and arrangements are in place to discuss a solution which is in the best interests of Lothian Buses.”
