Lothian Buses has announced the launch of its official app.
It claims the new app, available free on Apple and Android smartphones, is a first in Scotland for public transport. It allows passengers to easily pre-purchase SINGLEtickets, DAYtickets, DAY&NIGHTtickets, NIGHTtickets and FAMILYDAYtickets straight onto their mobile phones. Ian Craig, Chief Executive, said: “This is another step forward for us and our passengers as we drive further innovation in the service we provide. The ability to travel conveniently without change or a season ticket is very important of course, but the app offers so much more.
“This app will be a valuable practical tool for all our customers.”
