Irizar’s distributor in Uruguay Asperol has opened a new commercial representation centre for all of Uruguay near the city of Montevideo. A number of significant figures from the country’s road passenger transport sector were present at the inauguration event, along with the Asperol team and representatives from Irizar Brazil.
After more than 25 years in the Uruguayan market, Irizar has plans to grow its presence in the country, strengthening relationships with existing clients and consolidating its service network that is provided by Irizar Brazil. The new centre has 2000 m² of space and a team of 20 staff, to provide maintenance services at a single location, with the ability to undertake work including inspections, air-conditioning maintenance, mechanicals, bodywork and painting, as well as offering original spare parts and accessories sales.
