Germany MAN is starting the 2013/2014 football season with a new record – a total of thirteen Bundesliga clubs are using team coaches made by MAN and MAN´s Neoplan brand to drive the players and their entourage to the stadiums.
Holding a 72% share of the market for team coaches, MAN coaches transport 350 professional footballers every week. MAN is also to continue its involvement in the Bundesliga during the 2013/2014 season, sponsoring several teams including FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Hamburger SV, VfL Wolfsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Reinhard Pöllmann, CEO of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland, said: “72% is an incredible share. It almost seems club managers can sleep better if they know their precious squad is travelling safely in our vehicles.”
