Having taken over the former First Scotland East operation last year, McGill’s initially unveiled what was expected to become the standard fleet livery in green and blue versions for its newly-revived Eastern Scottish and Midland Bluebird brands. Having originally chosen schemes which were very similar to neighbouring Lothian’s livery style, McGill’s CEO Ralph Roberts has unveiled designs via his social media pages for a new livery for the two brands, retaining the traditional blue and green colours but in a more modern format.

The new livery is expected to start appearing from March, and will initially be seen on refurbished ex-London double-deckers on routes X10/X10A, 38, X25, 26 along with 64-plate Euro VI Mercedes-Benz Citaros transferred from the McGill’s fleet in western Scotland for routes UL and 54.
