Nu-Venture of Aylesford Proprietor Norman Kemp celebrated his 65th birthday at the firm’s 20th anniversary Medway Bus Rally and Running Day last Saturday (December 30, 2017). Around 30 vehicles attended the event which was based at the Acorn Wharf coach park in Rochester. Routes were operated to the surrounding area including a regular service to Chatham bus station. Mild weather meant that one of the most popular vehicles was a preserved East Kent open-top Willowbrook-bodied Bristol VRT which often had full loads on the top deck.
