Voted Top City Operator and UK Bus Operator of the Year at the UK Bus Awards, Stagecoach Manchester has introduced 13 Alexander Dennis Enviro400H hybrids to route 256 between Trafford and Manchester city centre.
Speaking at the launch of the new buses, Stagecoach Manchester Managing Director Chris Bowles said: “As a company we are constantly striving to improve our services, this includes making new routes available for popular routes such as the 256.
“we do our best to respond to our customer requests and on this occasion we were not only able to introduce a significant number of new buses, but also to do so in an environmentally friendly way thanks to the hybrid vehicles Stagecoach has invested in. These buses are also fitted with free WiFi.”
