Telematics solution provider Traffilog has signed a new five year contract with National Express.

The contract will see Traffilog continue to provide location based services, driver profiling and telematics to the coach operator.

Over the last few years, National Express has worked in partnership with Traffilog to improve driving standards across the network by monitoring driving styles and allowing for constructive feedback. This has resulted in a reduction in the number of accidents and contributed to improve fuel economy and a reduction in vehicle wear and tear.

As part of the new contract, Traffilog has agreed to enhance the system’s current functionality.

Kevin Gale, National Express Service Delivery Director, said: “We are pleased to be progressing to the next stage of our partnership with Traffilog which I am confident will continue to deliver benefits to both businesses as well as National Express customers.”

Yon Copitch, Managing Director of Traffilog, said: “I am delighted with the new five year agreement and our ongoing strong partnership with National Express. We have a range of exciting and innovative solutions planned for release over the next five years which will ensure even better reliability of the fleet and customer satisfaction.”
