Arriva North East (ANE) has introduced its premium Sapphire standard to its X21/X22 services, which link Newbiggin, Ashington and Newcastle via Stakeford, Wansbeck Estate, Guidepost and Beddlington.

The ADL Enviro 400s are equipped with power points to charge phones and lap-tops, free WiFi, audio visual stop annunciation and E-leather seating.
