Go-Ahead Group-owned Southern Vectis is introducing a new route designed specifically for those travelling to Tapnell Farm on the Isle of Wight this summer.
The bus operator announced it will run a number 27 route from Newport and Yarmouth to the popular tourist destination throughout the six week holiday period.
Southern Vectis General Manager, Richard Tyldsley, said: “We have listened to feedback and worked in partnership with Tapnell Farm to develop this new travel option for our customers, and hope to better accommodate those visiting and working at this hugely popular tourist attraction.
“This new route provides people with the opportunity to relax and leave their cars at home – and that can only be a good thing for both tourism and for the environment.”
Oli Whitehurst, from Tapnell Farm, added: “We have listened to comments we have received from our visitors regarding the need for convenient and reliable buses to Tapnell, and are delighted Southern Vectis is able to provide these for our main summer season.
“We’re looking forward to greeting our visitors as they arrive by bus with Southern Vectis Daily from July 21 to September 2, 2018.”
