Stagecoach South West has announced that customers will be able to board its Falcon services on Wednesdays during June for £1.

The £1 Falcon Megaday offer applies to bookings made in advance via Megabus.com for travel on June 8, 15, 22 and 29 only. Customers can choose to travel between Bristol, Bristol Airport, Taunton, Exeter or Plymouth. All bookings are subject to a 50p booking fee.

The South West Falcon, connecting Devon with Somerset and Bristol, launched in February. Online booking with Megabus.com launched the following month.

Managing Director of Stagecoach South West, Bob Dennison, commented: “Since our launch in February, the Falcon has really taken off. I hope our fantastic Falcon Megadays offer will encourage even more people to fly by Falcon across the South West.”

The £1 ‘Megaday’ offer is only available from the Megabus.com website. Alternatively, customers can still ‘turn up and go’ at the bus stop and buy their ticket direct from the driver in cash and at the normal price.

For regular commuters, season tickets are available online at swfalcon.com and from the driver.

Stagecoach launched the South West Falcon on February 14, with the eight brand new Volvo B11RT Plaxton Elite coaches representing a £2.5m investment. All of the coaches feature free WiFi as well as air conditioning, leather seats and charging sockets. The Falcon runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
