Tintagel Castle, supposed birthplace of King Arthur, is a great touring destination for groups of all ages.

It is located on the North Cornwall coast, with dramatic views, fascinating ruins and a beachside café, making it an excellent location for a day trip, with an average visit length of two hours. Its history stretches back to pre-roman times.

Visitors should not miss the ‘Searching for Arthur’ introductory video, the rugged trail to the ‘island’ and the hidden tunnel underneath it. ‘Merlin’s Cave’ is also located nearby.

Coach parking for 9 vehicles is located 600 metres away in Tintagel village. Groups of 11 or more can benefit from a 15% discount, with free entry for the coach driver and tour leader. General admissions are set at £5.50 per adult and £3.30 for children ages 5 to 15. Concessions tickets are available for £5.00.
