GERMANY Hanover’s municipal operator, üstra, has ordered 42 hybrid buses from Solaris. The order includes 26 Urbino 12s and 16 articulated Urbino 18 Hybrids. The delivery will be completed by 2016.

This year, nine of each vehicle are expected to be delivered.
üstra runs 63 Solaris buses of which 11 are Urbino 18 Hybrids. “üstra is a role model for the industry in terms of its innovation strategy and constant development in the field of sustainable public transport,” said Ma?gorzata Olszewska, Solaris Sales and Marketing Director.
