The Coach Tourism Council’s (CTC) two websites have both attracted record unique visitor numbers in the first quarter of 2013.
The exclusive CTC coach tour operator member website saw figures reach 11,000 in January and February and hit a record 12,000 in March – nearly double the figures for the same periods in 2012. The CTC said the rise was thanks to the resulting publicity from press trips and news requests.
Visitors are increasingly staying on the site and going through the process to find an operator (5,000 in March) with another 2,000 looking at the list of operators.
Visits to the late availability section are now more than 2,000 a month. The B2B site has also seen a big increase in visitors, with 7,000 for each of January and February and a jump to 10,000 in March.
