Travel de Courcey is celebrating after winning a prestigious accolade for excellence in customer care.
The Coventry-based operator beat off tough competition to clinch the Customer Service Award at the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards ceremony 2012, held in association with the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, for its continuous commitment to improving customer care standards.
Alan Durham, chairman of the judging panel, said: “Travel de Courcey put a huge amount of effort into making sure it delivers excellent customer service.
“It was obvious to the judges that it is part of the company’s culture and partly as a result it is doing very well as a business.”
It is the second year running Travel de Courcey has been honoured in the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards, having won the Green Business of the Year Award in 2011.
Mike de Courcey, Managing Director, said: “We put customer service at the heart of our bus and coach operations, so it is fantastic for that commitment to be recognised by our peers and our local region.
“The award also recognises the tremendous hard work of the whole team at Travel de Courcey in delivering such high standards of customer service, which has been pivotal in securing significant contracts in the last year.”
The award was presented to Mike at the event at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Friday, May 11, hosted by news reporter and TV presenter Bill Turnbull.
