Eastleigh, Hampshire-based operator Xelabus has taken delivery of four Scania CK230UB 4×2 OmniLinks

The 2011/12 registered vehicles have been supplied by Scania (Great Britain). The vehicles will be used on existing routes across Eastleigh and one to a new Business Park Service recently awarded by Hampshire County Council.

Gareth Blair, Operations Director of Xelabus, said: “The addition of the four Scania’s is a milestone moment for the company since it formed in 2010.

“The buses are superb and we are delighted to be welcoming them to our business. It is planned that the Scanias will see older vehicles now leave the fleet.

“The sales and support team from Scania (Great Britain) made our choice of purchasing these vehicles a lot easier.”

Steve Lambert, General Manager of used vehicles at Scania (Great Britain) added: “It has been a real pleasure working with Gareth and his team at Xelabus. I am sure these vehicles will have major impact in the area.”
